To celebrate R/GA’s upcoming 50th year and the launch of the R/GA By Design book, we decided to immortalize our legendary founder, Bob Greenberg, by making a digital clone of him with Runway’s newly released real-time conversational video agent, Characters. We built a custom frontend, trained the model with imagery and audio samples of Bob, and created a deep knowledge base from the contents of the book.
The Forever Founder experience premiered at the book launch party, then the team took the show on the road to Cannes. Future plans include having Bob’s digital twin as an always-on experience in every office with an even more robust set of training data and agentic functionality, such as serving up case study videos when asked. This is just the first step in how we will be interacting with brand ambassadors for clients in the very near future.
